Disappointing way to end the season for us after a run of decent results. It was always gonna be a difficult game but without Jamie, Dave, Josh and Rourkey and with Pete having to play up front, it was going to be even harder, and so it proved.

After being 2 down, it got even harder when Greg was sent off for handballing on the line and with no subs to freshen things up it was mission impossible before half time had even come.

Pitch was a real end of season one, hard and bumpy. Difficult to play passing football on but we kept trying to play, even if it is in the wrong areas sometimes and put some decent moves together. We just need to learn that we can-t knock it about in dangerous areas and give it away and when in the final third we need to get our shots off and crosses in. That said, with 3 or 4 17 years olds in the line up, we will learn and get there.

At the end of the day we just couldn-t cope with Tradeprices very direct but effective style and though I was pleased that we played some good possession football second half, they ended up winning at a canter. Good luck to them in the league and cups.

I forgot MOM didn-t I. Tough one to chose today. Could have been anyone but am going to give it to Alex. Not at all intimidated and showed great composure on the ball for his age. Now if only he would shoot and stop talking so much!!
