apart from the knowle game i think the main reason for the turn around in results and atmoshpere around the club is down to the players believing in there own ability and mentally beliving they are good enough to compete at this level .
occasionally you will get the odd hickup ie the knowle game , but when you work as hard as my lads do in 90 minutes eventually there is always going to be a game that it catches up with you .
progress is always the main aim for us as a club and individually the lads are buying into the hard work ethic that is coton green .
results and performances will always be judged by people on the outside looking in, but we as a group at coton green will play are way and behave in a manner that we as a club expect ..

having watched us yesterday against knowle my views on where we are as a football team at this level i think are justified .
as players and staff we know anything less than 100 per cent in any game will mean it will be a tough day at the office ,but when you drop down to eighty you know your in big trouble .
can we pick ourselves up and show some character against the better sides or just roll over and wait for so called easier games .

defensive errors and total lack of urgency and communication put pay to coton greens unbeaten run .
knowle didnt really need to break sweat with the coton green back four being in a very generous in all areas of the final third . shocking descision making and no communication helped contribute to all 4 knowle goals on a bad day for the away side .. there were some posatives to come out the game for the mill lane side ,alex gough and simeon lawrence impressing and jamie eecles showing when on his game how valuable a player he can be to the side ..
with prem side pilkington and further games against high flying shirley and littleton it cud be a tough month for coton green ..
