Todays game saw the lads come up against the Division 3 Cowgate team on the Excelsior Academy-s 4G pitch. With both teams not playing today due to the weather a friendly was arranged on what turned out to be perfect conditions for a game of football.
The game was a chance for both teams to have a run out after a few weeks without a game. The opposition are flying high in division 3 and hopefully they can keep it going and gain promotion into the second division.
The game was played in a high spirit and full credit to both teams especially the visitors who showed a great attitude throughout and never stopped working. We wish them all the best for the rest of their season.
