WELSH ALLIANCE LEAGUE - 2009/2010

United finished a comfortable 8th position in the Welsh Alliance League, under the management of Aled Owen, his 5th consecative season with the club.


The team enjoyed an impressive run-in by winning five of the last six matches, which included fine away wins against Pwllheli and Glan Conwy. These presious point enabled the club to keep their Wlesh Alliance League status for the 2010/2011 season, because of the Welsh FA re-structuring of the Welsh Premier.


The club once again enjoyed a fine run in the Welsh Cup. Winning 5-0 away at Holywell Town in the prelimary round, a batteling 4-3 home win against Nefyn United in the 1st round, an impressive 3-2 away win at Cymru Alliance League outfit Gresford in the 2nd round, and losing out 1-0 in a hard fought 3rd round encounter at Welsh Premier League outfit Bala Town in the 3rd round.


Twenty three year old forward Mathew Phillips took a clean sweep at the club's Annual Presentation Awards Night, winning the four awards on offer - Player of The Season, Players Player of The Season, Top Scorer of The Season, and The Managers Player of The Year Award.
