DPS - French Trip - Weekend of the 28/29th March 2009
Our match on the 29th March 2009 has got to go ahead as scheduled.
This is despite my pleading with the league to get this match re-arranged.
The league say we are supposed to give a months notice to cancel matches outside of weather conditions.
Unfortunately, this school trip arranged by DPS caters for 5 of our players and therefore leaves us with only 10/11 potential players.
This fixture “IS A MUST WIN” as it could determine whether we get runners-up or not and thereby “Promotion”.
I appreciate we were not given a fixture list for specific dates, but we must be able to cater for matches during the season. For future reference, please let me know at your earliest convenience of potential school trips.
On my part I need to ensure we have enough players outside of DPS to cater for such instances albeit very rare.
Unfortunately, this is a very important game and I don’t want to see all the boys hard work go to waste on a technicality. I will keep fighting, but don’t hold much hope as
This is beyond our control.
