The game against Stowupland was for a place in the last 8 of the senior cup, manager Beecroft asked for more from his players and they delivered with a good display and deserved the 4-2 victory and a place in the qtr finals, Gav Paul scored the first which was followed by a rare headed goal by Gasman from a great corner for a two goal lead and coasting until Phil Cooper scored an own goal past Des and gave Stowupland a present back into the game, it was close up until Paul Clennell scored his 14th goal of the season from the spot early in the second half to put us 3-1 and a little breathing space but then we conceded a penalty and it was 3-2 and Stowupland went looking for an equalizer but near the end Bucky scored from the halfway line and it was game set and match for a very impressive Cranes team, manager Beecroft was very happy with the win but praised Stowupland for the contribution they put into the game and can see why they are a very hard team to beat.
