A NEW BEGINNING |
Cray Wanderers & NB Reserves as a team have existed for many years, but it was the beginning of season 2006/2007 that the transformation came about.
The start of season 2006/7 three young men decided to take on the task of transforming a underperforming team into a real unit.
THE MANAGERS CAME IN WITH A NO NONSENSE ATTITUDE, DISPENSING WITH MANY OLD FACES THAT DID NOT FIT IN THE FUTURE PLANS AND BRINGING NEW, FRESH FACES.
THE MANAGERS DEMANDED THE RESPECT OF THE PLAYERS, AND IN RETURN GAVE RESPECT BACK. OVER TIME THE TEAM BECAME FRIENDS, BONDED AND AS A RESULT PRODUCED GREAT FOOTBALL.
After being promoted to the premier league at the end of season 2006/7, Cray W/NB decided to defect from Bromley & District league to the Kent County league, Division 2, west in search of a new challenge.
