Waddon Appointed Manager

Croesyceiliog are pleased to announce Mark Waddon has accepted the offer to become First Team Manager. Mark has previously been First Team coach and Assistant Manager at the club and is a former Croesyceiliog Player.

Mark will be assisted by Jody Jenkins. Jody has a wealth of playing experience at both Welsh League level and above. Jody is a well respected figure within local football and we are pleased he has made his first steps on the Managerial ladder with us although Jody will still be a important player at the club.

Chairman Chris Evans said " Mark Has done a excellent job since taking the job in a Caretaker capacity (10 points from 4 Games) and we feel at present with the job Mark has done in the last month it is best to continue forward with him in charge"
When asked if Mark will be looking to bring in any players to the squad Chris stated "We will look at all local talent whatever level they are playing at as we look to bolster our squad in the next few weeks"

While Mark commented "I am pleased that it's finally resolved and kept within the club. Now that Jody has taken on a assistant manager's position it's time we consolidate and use the wealth of knowledge and experience that is on offer at Croesy"

Chris summed up by saying "I personally am proud of the way everyone has responded and would like to place on record my thanks to all the players that have remained at the club and brought the feel good factor back to the club"
