A great end to the season with a fine day and some very good football played today. Defence Mike and Tim were once again sound against a very deep playing Woolston team. Matt made a great save in the second half with his feet Lewis Ben J Ewan and Josh all playing well in midfield. Particularly pleasing was some of the passing moves we made breaking out of defence one of which ended with Lewis slotting cooly away after Ben M played a one two with him. Sam also linked up well with his midfield and Lewis earlier on was extremely unlucky when the Woolston keeper pulled off a great save from Lewis long distance rocket. The second goal came when Ben M drove across the goal and the keeper turned into his own goal. Cromwell dominated the possession but Woolston were dangerous on the break - defence played very well. Woolston scored after some indecision between 3 Cromell players in their own box. Ben M was awarded MOM after a good allround display Once again a thoroughly enjoyable season and the Cromwell boys should be very proud of their efforts this season. WELL DONE
