It was Culter’s final game of the season and it was a game against the Scottish cup finalist and league winners Albion. So was going to be a tough game.

For the first 10 minutes Culter were holding their own against Albion who were being resorted to long shots that were missing the target. Arvin was playing his last game for Culter and had a good shot in the 11^th minute from distance which nearly fell in the path of Stevie but went past for a goal kick.  Albion were very dangerous on the attack with them nearly breaking the deadlock twice in the space of a minute but their shots across Culter’s goal went flying past he post. Culter did break the deadlock in the 16^th minute when Arvin picked the ball up just inside the Albion half , he played a great through ball to Lukas who rounded the Albion keeper, Lukas looked up to see Stevie bursting a gut to get to the edge of the box, Lukas played the ball across to Stevie who shot first time in to the back of the net. 1-0 Culter. With Culter going in front Albion would be looking to get back level and after some great defending and saves from Reece Albion managed to equalise when their attacker turned in the box to smash in. 1-1. Albion were starting to create chances with Culter on the back foot but they were unable to hit the target and Culter held on to go in level at the break.

A fantastic first half effort by Culter who had matched Albion everywhere on the pitch, now they had to keep it up for the second half if they are to get anything out of the game.

Culter got off to the worst possible start to the second half when Albion went ahead in the game when a cross found their attacker unmarked in the box to hit in. 2-1 Albion. Culter were still putting a lot of effort into the game but it was in the 55^th minute that they began to fall apart as for the next 15 minutes Albion scored with nearly every attack with the score going from 2-1 to 8-1. In this 15 minutes Culter did have a shout for a penalty when Bruce looked to have been pushed in the box but the ref waved play on. With 8 minutes to go Culter began to get more into the game and were looking to at least get 1 goal back and a goal they got, when Lewys played a great one two with Lukas to slot the ball under the Albion keeper from 6 yard . 8-2. For the last 5 minutes Culter pushed to get another goal but it wasn’t to come and the game finished 8-2 Albion

A great first half performance by Culter who matched Albion in every department ,and even though we fell apart for 20 minutes in the second half Culter still tried to get the ball down and play football which resulted in the league winners Albion saying that they think we are one of the best foot balling sides in the league along with Colony Park and Deveronvale.
