Most of the young ladies in the U14 squad played together for Danescourt Dames and knew each other from school. In the summer of 2007 they joined with Cardiff city and Llanishen to become Cyncoed Ladies, which could then offer a wider age range of girls the opportunity to join in the fun and get fit playing football (created by boys perfected by girls)
