DCFC were rocked yesterday as it was confirmed that the training ground injury suffered by Player-Manager Andy Holliday will rule him out for 6 weeks.
Holliday suffered a fracture to his right big toe, and after a trip to A&E it was confirmed that the injury would keep him out until late March.
This would mean he will miss vital home and away games against Buxton, as well as the trip to halifax and home game vs Stoke.
Holliday stated that he was 'absolutely gutted' but he is sure that his team can continue their recent unbeaten form without him.
In other news, the home game against Stafford scheduled for this Saturday 11th february has been cancelled as Stafford could not raise a team brave enough to take on DCFC at ''Fortress Clifton''. Holliday is working asiduously behind the scenes to try to re-arrange the match.
