TRAINING BACK AT BOURNEMOUTH UNI AS OF 4TH OCTOBER...EVERY THURSDAY 7-8PM

DH Britannia

Now in their second season sponsored by ‘The Britannia Pub’ in Ashley Cross, DH have enjoyed some successful times recently. Promotion last season was the culmination of hard work and 6 seasons of progression. Gradually improving league positions each year under the different guises of Dorset NHS, Dorset Harriers, DH United and now… DH Britannia.

A true ‘pub’ team, the squad enjoy a continental type mid-season break (70’s weekend at Butlins!) Other social/fund raising events (including race & quiz nights) ensure the club has a solid financial base, not something that has always been enjoyed.

After a troubled start to the 2007/08 season off, and on the pitch, Manager Alan Bissenden led his side to promotion as runners up after a run of games that saw DH lose just 2 of their remaining 12 fixtures.
