2003/2004 SEASON
Diamond Red Stars do the double,
Ex Perry St youth Team players
During the first season they ended up 5th, winning the golden boot award & sportmanship award.

2004 - 2nd season in senior league
This season they made league history, the highest goal scoring team, the highest goal scorer & doing the double winning the first division & the Cup final.

We won the league neting 99 LEAGUE goals,
also the highest goal scorer in both divisons winning the golden boot award.
JON WRIGHT scoring 41 goals LEAGUE making a TOTAL of 49 INCLUDING CUP

This season we progressed to the Cup final played at Maldon Town FC against Vorranova
winning on the night 4-1 in somewhat wet conditions,

it was a superb night taking the lead with a great goal from Andy Brodie & at half time going level at 1 all
Diamond came back with a vengeance & really did not look back, second goal from Dave Talbot, 3rd from Skipper Tom Ekers & 4th from Dave Talbot.

I would like to congratulate both teams for a great performance & great sportsmen

Diamond have been superb all season & these boys played with passion, friendship & as a unit working together
I would like to thank all the players they have put on a great show & should all be proud of their achievement
