We have a couple of matches coming up. The first is away to St Paul's Panthers on 8th November. Kick off is at 10.30 but we need to arrive at their pitches behind the school around 10am.
The second match we are trying to schedule for 22nd November against Farncombe. This will be at home kicking off at 10.30am.
Rain Jackets
Parents also have the chance to order personalised Dorking Saints rain jackets for the children. These are good quality Nike jackets which many older club members have purchased. If you wish to purchase a jacket they are priced at £25 which includes club logo, name as well as child's initials. Please see Kate, if you wish to order a jacket.
Kit
Please ensure that football boots with studs and shin pads are worn whilst the pitch remains soft, though trainers are likely to be more appropriate once the warmer weather arrives.
Tea Hut
Hot drinks and snacks are available beside the shed every week.
Each team within the club has agreed to staff the Tea Hut next season. Therefore it is likely that next seasons U7’s will need to provide a volunteer every few weeks, the same for the U-6’s.
This is a great way for parents to become actively involved in the club and allows vital funds to be raised in a great social atmosphere. If you would like to offer just 1 or 2 hours of your time once a month for the benefit of the club, it would be greatly appreciated.
Season 2008-2009.
The current 4 dads running this seasons U-6 training will be moving up to U-7’s next season, to continue training all the children that will be moving into Year 2. This will leave a gap for coaches for next seasons U-6 team. Dorking Saints FC is reliant on volunteers to allow the club to continue, so anyone who may like to get involved in a coaching capacity, please see one of the current U-6 coaches. No previous experience is necessary and funding for FA Level 1 Coaching badge is available from the club if needed. We are hoping to see an increase in Reception children attending after Easter holidays so help with training from the parents of the current Reception children will be great.
