How The Colts Began

Dosthill Colts came into existence in 1990 when a group of parents and kids started having a kick around on the field, it was decided to enter the Tamworth junior league and the club was formed by Gary Onions and Steve Brownlees. The first manager was D Meakin and his assistant was S Brownlees, the first club sponsor was R & G Tool Hire ( Roy Gardner).

The Name came from a contest whereby �The Kids� entered their names and the Committee chose the best. Chris Onions won some shin pads while Stephanie Brownlees won a book token, for being the successful children to name the club!
Graham Reed designed the original club badge.

Paul Ansell scored the first goal in a 1 - 1 draw against Hurley Kings.
