Report

Needed to win and hope the final games went their way to stay up Town were well fired up for the game.
Town were straight on the offensive but nervous of the situation until an unlikely goal came from nothing with central defender Ryan Caterer scoring from the half way line with a low driven strike with went through everyone and caught the Brampton keeper unaware.  This spurred town on but it was Brampton who would score next as Town conceeded a penalty which was converted after a Brampton player was fouled.  Town though keep their heads up and went to retake the lead.  Creating many chances it was Jake Tompkins who would add to towns tally before Ben McLaren added a third to see town go into half time 3-1.
Town were looking to extend the lead from the whistle and Jake Tompkins doubled his tally.  This fired him up further as he could sence a hat-trick.   Brampton got one back to make it 4-2 with an unlucky bobble took the ball away from Tom Farmer in towns goal which Brampton capitalised on.
Town knew with the clock ticking down that a fifth should see the game through and it was Jake who was rewarded with his efforts that got it and his hat-trick receiving the ball after some hard work from Giorgio Zsirai and only had the goal on his mind as he struck it with venom into the Brampton goal.

Final score 5-2 to town.  Man of the match went to Jake Tompkins not only for his three goals but excellent work ethic and hunger.
