BIOGRAPHY
Likes: Dublin

Dislikes: Penalties

Interests: Corpses

Nicknames: JP, Perks and Stig of the Dump are just some of the nicknames used for Jon.

Perks has been a fantastic player over the past few seasons for Town. He is one of only a few who can play anywhere across the back four and do it with great quality. Due to the lengthy injury of Gange he has had to feature at left back for most of this season...and has been playing amazing to say he is right footed.

It is a great skill to play comfortable on the opposite foot ..trust me !!

Perks' form this season have seen him one of only 3 players to feature in every minute of every game...a credit to his perseverence and commitment to the team...which after a nasty and lengthy ankle injury some seasons ago he found it difficult to pin down a regular spot in the first 11.

Perks is a coolest man on the pitch also, just watch him take a penalty, the best in the team...better than the horrible little man Fordham !

Perks is very strong in the tackle, good on the ball and brilliant in the air, but what this lad gains on the pitch, he lacks lot off it common sense wise..!

Rumour has it he got his 1st class honours degree in a Kinder Surprise !!

But on the whole a fantastic lad, with a top notch attitude and a credit to Dronfield Town.
