The Green Team 's game against Stockport was close on the scoreboard with a draw however in my opinion we could have scored a bagful with the shot ratio we had. Stockport pushed hard early on and went 1 - 0 up when they attacked in numbers and after Ryan made the initial save another Stockport player sneaked in at the back post to score. However the one player that made the difference for their team was the keeper he played a cracking game and managed to save some great shots from our boys. Our lads were queuing up to shoot however due to a mixture of good defending, sheer numbers of Stockport players behind the ball and great goalkeeping they managed to keep the lead in the first half.

The second half saw Stockport come again and score to make it 0 - 2 however our boys continued with the pressure in attack and were patient with their build up play. The touchline all felt that it would come it was just a matter of time. We struck back with Cameron Hill with his twelvth of the season so far when Joe put a great ball in for Mac who shot however was denied by another great save, fortunately for us though he could not keep hold of it and Cameron smashed it into the roof of the net to give us some hope on 1 - 2. We kept going and rifled shot after shot at their nets however were denied further by their keeper. However the boys did not get frustrated we just played our game and were rewarded late on with an equaliser to rescue a point when Joe played a lovely looping ball over their defender's head onto Mac who hit the ball on the volley to lob the keeper for a fantastic goal.

Ryan made some good stops again and did well under pressure from their attacks. The ball was skidding about due to the frost and that did not help however Ryan continues to impress. William played another consistently good game again by putting himself about at the back to upset their attack. At one stage he got forward for a corner and nearly scored his first goal for the club when he got the ball on the edge of the area, hit it first time and drilled it like a rocket along the ground however was denied by the right post.

The midfield played a great game again as always with Joe and Cookie who were making eveything happen going forward. Cookie came close to scoring with a great little run down the left flank to turn inside and fire off a strong shot into the side netting. Joe was spraying the ball around from the middle of the park, switching play with Mac and Cookie to inspire the team to get forward.

Mac and Cameron worked hard up front and provided the goals. Cameron was first on 24 mins assited by Mac and Mac scored on 29 mins assited byJoe to finish off a superb move. Overall and despite the conservative scoreline we played a great game and were unlucky not to to win with the shots we had however we cannot deny that Stockport defended and kept their goal well. Cameron won Man of the Match however just like the White Team a handful of players could have won it and it's increasingly difficult to choose one player when the whole team does so well.
