ABOUT THE CLUB

Eagle Junior F.C was awarded F.A Charter Standard Development Club of the year for the second year running 2009/10.

Eagle JFC are committed to making an environment in which players of all ages can enjoy their football.

Charter Standard is rewarded to clubs in recognition of best practice in all areas.
This includes:

Election of full committee including Club Welfare Officer and Football Development Officer.
Screening of all Volunteers via Registration scheme.
Coaching staff in possession of at least F.A Level 1 Coaching Qualification but also F.A Level 2 Coaching Qualification.

Eagle Junior F.C is one of the largest junior football clubs in the Warrington area with a current junior membership of over 320. Children from the age of 5 years up to 18 years of age are encouraged to enjoy their football and develop an understanding of the game under the guidance of qualified coaching staff (the majority of which are parents.)

Small sided mini-soccer (seven a side) encompasses the age groups of Under 7s to Under 10s and is played on Saturday mornings of the regular football season. 11 a-side football takes place on both Saturday and Sunday for the older age groups up to and including the Under 18s section.
Training sessions take place at several centres around the Penketh and Sankey area and all adult volunteers are screened via the Clubs Volunteer Registration scheme.

All players, coaches and volunteers are requested to read and abide by our various codes of conduct which are included in our welcome pack.

Our over-riding objective is to provide a Junior Football Club in which all our junior members are able to develop their skills, enjoy being part of a team effort and develop new friendships.

We are very proud of what we have achieved at Eagle Junior F.C and hope that you enjoy being part of our club.

Enjoy your Football,
Ken Lawrenson
Chairman
