In recent times we have become one of the leading grassroots clubs in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
In June 2007 the Club celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in the presence of England 1966 World Cup winner Jack Charlton OBE at a special dinner dance, attended by some 270 players, officials and guests.
Meanwhile, recognition of the recent progress made by the club came in July 2008 when Easington United AFC was named FA Charter Standard Adult Club of the Year for the East Riding and the Yorkshire Region, a feat it has repeated in 2009.
The 2009/10 season will see the First Team's move into the Central Midlands Football League after nine years as a founder member of the Humber Premier League. In addition United will continue to field two teams in the East Riding County League.
A club built on friendship, loyalty and no shortage of hard-work, sprinkled with copious amounts of unique East Yorkshire humour, The Eastenders continue to go from strength to strength.
