Up until the move to the Central Midlands League in the summer of 2009, Easington United were unique among Holderness clubs in having teams in the top flight of both the East Riding's leading Saturday league competitions. Formed in 1995/96 to give the youngsters a game, the Eastenders Reserves won Division 4 of the ER County League in their first season. Ten years on they gained promotion to the Premier Division. Along the way they also lifted the ER County League Junior Cup in 2000/01 and they finished the 2009/10 season off on a real high when lifting the League President's Trophy, the H. E. Dean Cup, for the first time in the club's history. The aim of the Reserves is not only look to bring continued success on the field but also to continue feeding quality players through to the senior squad ranks, somthing that has proved a feat in itself in recent years.
