The Eastenders Third Team, "The Casuals", originate from the former Holderness Casuals FC side, which competed with some success in the Hull Sunday League in the early- to mid-Nineties.
On the disbandment of that particular club at the end of the 1995/96 season, the registration was taken over by the newly-formed Easington United Casuals who marked the Eastenders' Golden Jubilee year by bringing Sunday League football back to the village.
After a near miss on both the league and league cup front in their first season, the Casuals struggled on with declining interest until the switch to Saturday football in 2001.
Their first season proved a baptsim of fire but they enjoyed better fortunes in 2002/03, reaching the ERCFA Qualifying Country Cup semi-finals.
In 2005/06 they clinched promotion from Division 5 of the County League and have just about managed to retain Division 4 status in both seasons therein.
