Stiffs defeated but not downhearted

Although defeat to title-chasing Little Weighton this afternoon just about confirmed a bottom two finish, Reserves caretaker boss Daniel Campbell refused to get too downhearted.

His side – which was subject to several late changes – played its part to the full in an entertaining encounter on the pitch across the ditch, eventually going down 2-4.

Karl Fitzgerald and Paul Wilkinson were the Stiffs’ scorers.
