The formation of the team

James took over the club in the summer of 2008 bringing with him his brother Daniel as assistant manager. The two of them along with cornerstone of the club Tim Bebb made up the coaching line up for pre season 2008. Their first win came away at Stafford Soccer School and pre season followed a similar pattern. During this period Carl Ryding was brought in as the goalkeeping coach which James felt was the last piece of the Jigsaw. The season was up and down to say the least and contained some very impressive performances by the team however ultimately it was disappointing as the team did not pick up as many wins as were expected. During the season Tom Chandler was brought in to assist James, Carl and Tim as Daniel moved into his current position of technical director. After a summer of worry and discontent where at times it looked like it would be a struggle to get a team together Eccleshall started pre season in July 2009. There was a coaching re shuffle with Tom Chandler taking over the goalkeeper coaching and Carl moving into the assistant manager role vacated by Daniel. The team has greatly improved in 2009 with some excellent performances against some of the top teams in the league. It is the hope that over the next 2/3 years the club can keep this consistency and begin to challenge the league leaders.
