Well done the under 16s Lads!!! 2009-10 saw a wonderful double for the under 16's team managed by Chris Shipley, Shaun Cooper and Colin Smith. The team won the top division in the Lichfield & District under 16s without losing a single match, they also went on to win the league shield and were only narrowly beaten in the cup preventing the treble! The team has now moved on to Eccleshall FC as Youth Team.
The under 12s team had great sucess in winning the league shield combined with a healthy mid table finish. Well done to coaches James Migdal & Tim Bebb.
The under 10s squad also had a very successful league season with Dynamo winning the Premier league, Spartak winning the 1st Division and Zenit coming a very creditable third. Well done to the teams and the coaches....Martin Edwards, Andy Beasley, Andy Berrow, Paul Baldwin and Chris Thomas for their efforts!
And mention must go to Doug Pye for his sterling work with the youngsters in his grassroots sessions.

The first Eccleshall Eagles team was formed to play in the 2000 Eccleshall Summer League Under 7�s. The team, managed by Paul Beaman, emerged from Saturday morning football coaching sessions organised by the Bishop Lonsdale PTA in Eccleshall.
As the team showed promise and the boys so much enjoyed playing in a team, when Paul decided not to continue as manager other parents rallied round to keep the team going. The team developed quickly and returned to the Eccleshall Summer League at both Under 8�s and Under 9�s and won the league and cup double both years.
The parents felt that Eccleshall should have a junior football structure in place to enable other local children to receive good quality coaching and the opportunity to play in a team. So Tim Bebb stepped forward to manage a team at a younger age group and it was at this point that the Eccleshall Eagles Juniors became a club.
Since then each year a new Eagles team has been formed so that the Club now runs teams from Under 16�s down to Under 8�s and runs well attended coaching sessions for Under 6�s and Under 7�s on Saturday mornings.
We became one of the first local clubs to receive the FA Charter Standard Award in 2004. This was recognition by the FA of the club�s achievement in putting in place a structure to provide children over a number of age groups with the opportunity to play football in a safe environment.
Throughout our short history the overriding objective of our club and teams at all age groups has been to try to do things in the correct way. Whilst our teams try to be competitive and several of our teams have won league titles and cups with a number of our players progressing to football academies, it is also important to us that we are a friendly club where our players enjoy playing for our teams and representing Eccleshall.
