Army is one of five successes from the Eccleston United FC youth policy. He started at Eccleston at Under 10's as a centre back and progressed up the age groups to the open age team. Represented St. Helens Town and Merseyside as a youth and went on to have a stint with Tranmere Rovers until knee injuries got the better of him. Had two excellent season as a 'keeper and reverted back to centre back last year (2005/06). Unfortunately an injury again to his knee in the last game of last season has prevented him playing so far this season. Currently in rehabilitation and looking to make his comeback in January 2007.
If this lad was cut he would bleed yellow & black (Eccleston United FC)
