Echt AFC were one of Eight new Clubs admitted into the A.A.F.A. at the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association A G M on June 24th 1990.

Association Membership for Season 1990-91 was granted giving the association a total of 116 Clubs with Echt starting their Amateur days in Division 7.
