Please can everyone try to get down to training tonight. First game is this Sunday so it'll be good to have a decent turnout and a decent session ready for what will be a tough game. 7pm at Bakery as usual, followed by a pint or two in the Adswood.

Sep 26: Villa Sign Training Ground Deal

Ambitous Edgeley Villa have signed an agreement to train at Burnage Rugby Club.

The division four club put pen to paper last night on a deal that will see the
Horses use the new Fieldturf facility close to the Heaton Mersey Bowl. Villa
will train every Wednesday at 9pm throughout the season so they can keep
momentum going throughout what is already proving to be a exciting campaign.

Recent signing Scott Thompson is delighted with the location and said: "To secure such a prestigous facility underlines one of the reasons I
decided to join this club. The facilities on offer to us are Premiership standard
and we can only benefit from this. This is a club on the up and progress like
this is a sure sign to fans that the club is here to stay and has been built on
solid foundations. Some of the lads are already looking forward to playing golf
on the course next door!"
