Sunday 15^th July 2012 was a land mark day for two ex Edinburgh South players. James Flynn and Daniel McKinlay were named in the squad for a Falkirk XI in a pre season friendly against Spartans at Ainslie Park.

These two boys played in the 1996 age group and have been at Falkirk now for two seasons. They both got on in the latter stages of the game and performed well in the short time they had. Hopefully this is just a stepping stone to making the first team in the next two or three years.

Coincidentally they were facing another Edinburgh South “old boy” in Jordan Finnie who was playing up front for Spartans.
