RBSCS formed at the same of the 2004-05 season in the West Middlesex Sunday Football League Division One. Under the watchful eye of manager Nick Mullins the club in there 1st season reached the semi final of the Kitson Cup where they were beaten by Old Isleworthians 1-0. They just survived the drop with a 3-2 victory away from home against The Winning Post.
At the start of the 2005-06 campaign they had signed new players and the squad were becoming a good unit. In pre-season they looked impressive with some brilliant results:- 10-3 against Feltham Cowboys, 7-0 against The Kings Head and 1-0 against Feltham Garrison, but injuries and players leaving have left them fighting at the wrong end of the tabe for the second season running.
At the beginning of the 2006-2007 season, even after renaming ourself RBS FC, the results didnt change for the Royals & it was another tough season. RBS finished second bottom & have been relegated. Rather than playing in Div 2 of the West Middlesex League. RBS have broken away & joined the Chiswick & District League.
At the end of the 2008/2009 season, the management duo of Sean Dyson & Nick Mullins decided to fold the RBS team due to another season of disappointment, having been in contention to win the league ended up finishing 6th after a disappointing December which effectively killed of our challenge. The club did not stay dead for long and was renamed to the Elmwood Royals FC. With a few new additions to the playing squad will 2009/2010 be a season of success for The Royals?
