A big game for EMH.

Started well and as planned, keeping the game tight for the first 10 mins. The breakthrough came after appoximately 20 mins when Nick Milner showed excellent skill in the box and slotted home the first. We dominated much of the first half and came in at the break with a deserved lead.

Second half we had the wind against, Rushden piled on the pressure but we defended well and retained the lead. With about 20 mins to go they scored the equliser. A further five minutes on Rushden were awarded an dubious penalty, but John Rumsey pulled of an excellent save to his bottom left corner. After this our heads did not go down and with 5 mins on the clock we won a corner, Brad swung it in with his LEFT foot and Jamie Herrmann powered home with an excellent header.

The game finished 2-1 with a well deserved win.
