Today was our last game of the season and we had the rare luxury of 8 players available.
Max is away on holiday but KK made it back today after his illness.
The first half got underway and both teams looked bright with equal possession of the ball.
After last weeks hammering at Wadham I was worried it may have knocked the teams confidence but I was wrong. Both teams were playing some quality football the passing precise and even in chances at goal. Aaron did not have too much to do in goal but dealt well with anything that did come his way. The first half ended 0-0.
The second half got underway and Louie came on to give Sam a rest. The game continued to look quite evenly matched with both sides creating some good chances. Louie who hurt his ankle in the match warm up had to come off and Sam returned on field. Adam Hurt his arm nearing the end of the half but bravely carried on for the team and the game ended with a 0-0 draw.
Boys you played really well today and if I-m honest you deserved to win it. I-m just really pleased you got a point today and finished the season with a clean sheet.
