|Goals scored||0||Yellow cards||0|
Casper joined the team on a whim in the summer of 2011 and has proved to be an inspired signing. He is proof of the old theory that being mental is a pre-requisite for being a goal-keeper, and appears to model himself on Bruce Grobelaar, though I'm not sure he's quite got to the point of making saves by mistake. He regularly attempts to induce heart failure from the rest of squad by dribbling past strikers from back passes, and Ladbrokes is offering 2-1 on Glenn not living to the end of the season, or doing a Houllier and having to retire on health grounds.
Casper has also effortlessly stolen Steve's title of "Campest Player" donning a series of vile outfits and generally mincing around like there's no tomorrow. On the more conventional playing side, he's a top shot stopper, has safe hands and has so far played every game. Apart from his tendency to arrive just after the game should have kicked off, it would seem that the days of Ben and Mike filling in between the sticks are over, and that's got to be good news for everyone.
