In 1985 John Evans had an idea to form a football team with members from Emmanuel Church. A team was formed of experinced players and young 16 year olds
We play for fun, but hate losing. Many of the original players are still involved with the club

Founded in 1985, Emmanuel Football Club currently field one team who are the Premier league of Guildford & Woking Alliance. The last few years have been extremely successful on the pitch, with two promotions and an Intermediate Cup victory, as well as being recent winners of the League's Sportsmanship Trophy.
The Club are also proud holders of the Arundel Trust Trophy, presented in recognition for including the local community in the club's activities.
Matches are played on Saturday afternoons, the home pitch being at Brookwood Recreation Ground, Sheets Heath Lane, Connaught Road, Brookwood. Training is at Kings College all-weather facility from 9.00 – 10.00 pm on Tuesdays.
New players are always welcome.
