Eynesbury Rovers scored an injury time equaliser from the penalty spot just two minutes after Thrapston had taken the lead for the first time during the match. Jamie Graham gave Eynesbury a third minute lead and debutant Richard Dell doubled the hosts advantage with a 54th minute strike. However, within a minute Thrapston pulled a goal back with Ben Morgan scoring a penalty. Five minutes later Thrapston were awarded another spot kick but this time Dave Beeny saved Morgan's shot. In the 87th minute the visitors equalised through Ben Morgan and in the first minute of stoppage time Marcus Kierle put them ahead. However, there was still time for more drama as Scott Kingsbury was fouled inside the penalty area and Jamie Graham scored to level the game at 3-3 in the 93rd minute.
