What a cruel result for Eythorne who started this game with some breath taking football. The first twenty minutes saw league leaders Trinity second best in every department with the goalkeeper having to pull off several fine saves. Against the play though Trinity took the lead with their first attempt . Rovers bounced back in fine style with Ryan Bacmeister, Martin Lewis and Sam Mummery dictating the midfield and when a superb pass found Ben Rodmell he unselfishly passed the ball to Steven Wilson who slotted home from close range. Rovers found themselves behind again minutes later after a lack of concentration and then again to be 3 - 1 down at the interval. In the second half Eythorne rallied again but a fourth goal by the visitors was a killer and demoralising for Eythorne. Jordan Roberts made a great double save from a penalty to deny Trinity another but they still managed to score two more to leave the supporters stunned. Ryan Bacmeister got Rovers man of the match for a hard working performance.
