HISTORY
30 Dec 2009

Falkirk FC community section started the F Leagues in 2005, which introduced girls to football in a safe and fun environment. In 2006 the club introduced the Community teams who were placed in a non competitive league with weekly matches. It was from here that the club applied for SFA league status in the youth section at under 13's, for season 2007. The team 'whites' proved to be a successful team just missing out on the league championship on the last day of the season. Since then the club have introduced league teams at u15's and u17's in 2009, with the u11's playing in regional tournaments.
This year 2010 the club will introduce a senior team, along with an u12's into the league. The u11's will be introduced into the FVYL as the first all female team, from February.
The club have girls training with the SFA Regional and Development squads and in the fullness of time we hope to have girls representing their national team.
From an initial football introduction for girls the programme has flourished into a organised player pathway, with 'girls only' sessions run from 3 year old to playing with the senior team in the SWFL national league.
