Oran Environmental Solutions became the official sponsor of this enhanced pre-school programme to support Central and Local government initiatives relating to health, fitness and well-being through encouraging and facilitating engagement with sport throughout childhood and beyond. Using a local professional football club, Falkirk FC, as a catalyst to achieve these objectives. Oran ES is anxious to support targets to increase the availability of sport to all nursery age children throughout the Forth Valley regardless of circumstances, particularly any financial barriers that may prevent participation.

SFA COMMUNITY QUALITY MARK

Falkirk FC Community sections have achieved the Quality Mark Community Award. The girls section managed to gain the Development Award recently which enabled both sections, Boys and Girls, to collectively apply for the Community Award. The application was successful earlier this month (February 2010). For the onset of the Scottish Football Associations Quality Mark initiative Falkirk in the Community have embraced its ethos of organisational structure and quality benchmarking. The Award represents the accumulation of three years work which saw the club work through the Standard and Development levels, this prestigious award recognises the work of all volunteers, coaches, players and staff.
