After the previous seasons great 4th place finish Albion hoped for great things. However, with a number of regular 1st team players leaving the club for pastures new there were difficult times ahead.
At one stage in the season Albion looked finished. Despite never quite dropping into the bottom three it was only goal difference that stopped it. However, in the last 2 months of the season Albion found some form and spirit, even beating the eventual champions.
A creditable finish of 10th was achieved in the end.
