FARNBOROUGH YOUTH FC ANNOUNCEMENT (FROM FARNBOROUGH FC)

Farnborough Football Club, who last week unveiled their plans for their Elite youth structure, will be enhancing the opportunities available to all local youngsters.

From the commencement of season 2009/10, the club will be forging closer links with Farnborough Youth Football Club.

The objectives of Farnborough Youth FC is to provide “football for all” allowing as many local youngsters the opportunity to get involved in football as possible.

The Farnborough Youth committee have worked tirelessly over the last twelve months, attaining Charter Standard, which in turn has seen their coaches focus on Continuing Professional Development, enhancing their core skills and knowledge and passing this on to the players.

As the players develop their skills, pathways will be in place to enable them to progress to the Elite structure.

This season, Farnborough Youth FC will have teams right through from U7s to U13s, as well as an U16 and an U18 group.

Farnborough FC adopted the “your town, your team,” tag line and strengthening our youth structure, with both the youth and elite set-up, underpins further the club’s ambition to support youth football in the local area.

Marc Kleboe, the club’s Community Officer, will be working closely with the Farnborough Youth FC to help build links through the community, and to deliver the “football for all” philosophy.

This season, Farnborough’s Elite structure will play at Bisley Sports Ground, and the Youth at Queens Road.

For more information, contact Marc Kleboe on 07525 329385 or drop him an email at marc.kleboe@farnboroughfc.co.uk.

You can also contact Farnborough Youth FC direct. Contact Malcolm Upward (Farnborough Youth FC Chairman) on 07827 914799 or email chairman@farnboroughyouthfc.co.uk.
