Reserves

Farncombe FC are planning to have a reserve team for the 2007/2008 season.

We are currently looking to speak to players that would be interested in becoming part of the club.

The reserve team will be run in a different way to any other reserve team in the area. The team will train alongside the first team with a team coach, but the team will be picked by the first team manager, Chris Darwen. The team will be run on the day by the captain of the team. We feel that this will help bond the club together and stop the usual "clique" of first team players against reserve team players.

The sole aim of the reserve team will be to give Farncombe FC the strength and depth required for the club to achieve it's aims. The side will be made up of players coming up from the youth teams, players with the desire to break into the first team, players not currently in the first team and a couple of experienced heads.

If you are interested in a trial before next season please contact us.
