ABOUT THE CLUB

Farncombe Youth Football Club (formerly Farncombe Boys) was formed in 1975 to provide the opportunity for competitive football for youngsters.

The Club has grown to just under 400 members with 26 teams, and now provides the opportunity for competitive league football from U8's to 17 years of age. Our U7's play friendly football, and we have a Nursery Squad for rising 5's to train and learn the basics of football.

Regular weekly training is available from August through to end of April, and is then topped off with our Inhouse tournament for all members and our Annual Tournament, which hosts just under 150 football teams in one weekend.

We are an FA Charter Standard Club, to which we have to meet various requirements from the FA.

We offer Football for All, and currently have 3 girls teams.

We also offer:

FA Qualified Coaches
Specialised coaching for Goal Keepers
All Managers, Coaches and helpers are CRB checked.
Annual Tournaments
Tours in UK and Europe
Fundraising events for our Club and local charities

Previous players include:

Mark Hudson - Crystal Palace
John Humphrey - Leatherhead & Millwall
Iain Hendry - Crystal Palace, Wycombe Wanderers YT
Stuart Girdler - Woking

Many players have progressed and become professional or semi professional, many others still play senior or junior football in this area.

All children are welcome of all abilities.

We play in red & blue tops, navy shorts & socks. We also have a white away kit available.

If you wish to come and join our Club, please contact Keith on 01483 423188 or 07974 613169 or email keith@grove222.freeserve.co.uk for details.

Or just pop along to Meades Park, Farncombe on a Saturday morning 10-12.

We look forward to seeing you!!!
