FARNDON UNITED FC

Farndon Football Club was formed in 1970 at the Rose & Crown Farndon and the Pub today is used as the after match Venue for the Players.

Farndon F.C. have two teams who complete each season in the Newark Football Alliance Sunday AM League.

Over the past 36 years Farndon F.C. have won a variety of Divisions and Trophies. Until just recently 1993/94 season had been the most succesful for the Club winning both the Senior Division Championship and the prestiges Willie Hall Cup with great local players as Mark Revill,Gavin Stenson,Pring Price,Brett McNamara,Denis Rhule,Boo Baker,Andy Duckmanton,Stevie Cobb,Matt Jarman,Chuck Tansley,Martin Warner,Dean Revill,Paul Bryan,Adie Jarman.
However the 2005/2006 season was a season that no one will ever forget for them who were connected to our Club. Firstly they were crowned NFA Premiership Champions swiftly followed by Sam Arnold Cup Winners and finally the Willie Hall Cup Winners. Something only twice done before by the great teams of RHPSSC and New Inn F.C.
