First Season 2008/2009

GJFL Division 4 - Finished 4th
A great first season for the team with many of the squad having their first taste of competitive football. We managed to win 9 of our 16 games and only lost on 4 occassions to the top 2 teams in the league.

GJFL Challenge Cup Rd 1
We bowed out in the 1st round to division 1 high flyers Colton, we were no match for their skill and experience and lost 12 - 1

GJFL Supplementary Cup Rd 1
An excellent performance was just not enough to beat Garforth Rangers A from division 3. We played our part in a thrilling epic of a game losing out 4 - 3 after extra time. The team really came of age in this match.
