The Reds started training in October 2007 as a overflow squad to the already established Farringdon Detahed Under 8's of that season.  In the March of 2008 we played our first competative game in the Russell Foster Youth League in the under 8's Keith Millar Trophy league, were we managed to finishin fourth place.

The following season (2008/2009) saw the Reds move up the divisions and compete in division one. their performances surprized everyone and by end of the first half had won promotion to the Premier League by finish third. The Premier League Cup Divison proved to be a big learing curve with the boys playing well but always somehow managing to fall short of a victory and so finished third bottom.

For the start of the Under 10 season (2009/2010) the Reds played several tournaments through the summer resulting in the team winning the RFYL Pre Season Tournament. That Premier League season found the REDS were the team to beat as they played some outstanding football but for two below par game they lost the league and had to settle for runners-up.

Another summer of tournament football saw The REDS win everything they entered and with the start of the new 9v9 RFYL season (2010/2011) The REDS raced away with the league title and Premier Cup.

So for a new challenge we enter South Tyneside Trust League at an age group older and compete in the Under 13 league.
