Re-arranged reversed fixture saw Farringdon Detached take on Washington Junior Millers.
Prior to kick-off, a minutes silence was observed impeckably by both teams and all supporters. A late withdrawl of Joseph Herron meant the back 4 needed a re-shuffle, and has to be said, disrupted our concentration. In for his debut up front, was Kyle Clearsby, celerbrated with 2 goals, on another day with a less inspired keeper could of had at least a double hat-trick. Jamie Cairns came off the bench and ran his heart out and was rewarded with a goal. The team grafted like warriors, and in the words of our chairman " never seen a more 1 sided game with the best team losing". First half lapses with their only dangerman remaining elusive, saw us fall behind, all in all cannot fault the effort of the lads. KEEP YOUR HEADS UP LADS IT WAS A PLEASURE TO SEE YOUR EFFORTS, KEEP WORKING AS A TEAM, AND PLUGGING AWAY, WE ARE ALL PROUD OF YOU ALL. KEEP GOING LADS.
