Byair have been accepted to take part in the Essex Sunday Junior Trophy, which means we will be in 4 cup competitions this season.

Byair start new season with a smaller squad |
After signing 30 players last season Byair go into the new season with a smaller squad, saying goodbye to 11 players, all who made 8 or less appearances last season, the most notable exit being Luke Taylor, who scored 6 goals in 8 appearances, and a hatrick in Byairs only official pre-season friendly last season.

Fourth division side Bramwell proved to tough an opposition for Byair, with the game ending in fighting and various cards being handed out to the players of both sides this is a match Byair wish to put behind themselves.

04th December 2005 FC Byair exit the Thornavon Cup in the fourth round |
After beating 3rd division and premier division opposition Byair met second division Bayern Monkwick in the fourth round of the cup. Only fielding 10 men Byair went ahead in the first five minutes, unfortunately this only woke up Bayern who finished the game leading 9-1.

01st November 2005 FC Byair invited to take part in the 'Wally Castle Invitational Trophy' |
The Wally Castle tournament runs over 2 seasons, with the final being held on the last sunday of April 2007.

The football team was founded by Glen Byron, Chris Morgan and Andy Smith. The clubs 2 strips were supplied and sponsored by Byair Conditioning Limited. The football team originally consisted of 8 of byairs employees and a collection of close friends.
