1st Season 07/08

Chris Bourne decided to start up his own football club after helping IFC2nds survive relegation in the 2006/07 season.
With Chris's connections, footballing knowledge and overall passion for the game he set out to shape a team from scratch and to achieve many trophies with them.
The club name FC GULLS come from Chris's recent clubs nick name Canvey Island (The Gulls) and wanted to make them as successful in sunday league as Canvey was in the Ryman Leagues.

The clubs first season saw a group of players combine well to achieve more than what Chris had set out to do in his first season. The first season saw Chris Bourne's men pick up an Undefeated League Title in Division 7 of the Sceptre League and a League Cup Winners Trophy.

The clubs first season set the standard for FC Gulls and with players coming and going over the season and summer im sure Chris has plans to continue to build FC Gulls into a top challanging team in the Sceptre League.
