Gatesy started life with Tolworth as a centre back but filled in between the sticks when the side were struggling for a keeper. He sooned proved what a great goalie he is and remained in goal. Towards the end of the 2006/2007 season work commitments forced him to miss several games including Tolworth's cup final win over Molesey. Gatesy started the 2007/2008 season back as number one and continues to give his side plenty of confidence with his good performances.
